I’m Looking To Buy Some Land That Once Had Train Tracks On It.with The Track Gone Can I Put A Trailer On It?

the land where the tracks ran sits 10-15 feet above the rest of the ground and THAT’S where I want my home. will a mobile home fit on it? Know I plan on building front and rear porches that double as a carport and storage shed.will this work?

    You will have to search the title to the land. Even though there are no tracks there, some railroad still has title to that piece of land. If you did decide to establish your home site there they could force you off for squatting, meaning that you did not have clear title to the property.
